Humbled

I was humbled today when I read my friends post. She talked about how important it is for us to remember the simple things in life. I feel like I haven't done that enough the last couple of months. I have been caught up in to much drama that I never want to be a part of. I am the kind of person that needs to experience things to learn from them......maybe that is why God has given me so many trials in my life. I have learned this lesson 6 1/2 years ago when my Grandparents were killed. When I think about them, I don't remember the places we went on vacation or the things they bought me. I remember my Grandmother's smile and my Grandfather's laugh. These things are simple but also the most important. This lesson is the only good thing that has come out of that tragedy and I can not forget that. I also need to be more forgiving. I need to forgive anyone whom has said anything bad about me. I need to forgive the two men that killed my grandparents, this is something I work on every day. I want to enjoy the moments that I have with my family, instead of always worry about paying bills, going to the store, and cleaning. I still have to do those things but I don't want them to consume me. I want to say thank you to that person for helping me. I also want to thank my husband who always keep me grounded and has always been there for me.

Thanksgiving Point petting zoo

Yesterday, Zac and I went the Thanksgiving Point petting zoo. It was such a nice day that we got together with a bunch of neighbors and went. This is a picture of some of Zac's friends.
Zac liked a lot of the animals .........but he got a little scared of some of them.
He even got to ride a horse!
Overall it was a great day and I would love to do it again.

Good Day

It was a good day today!!! Ethan and I had our 3 year wedding anniversary. Also I just found out that I got the job with jetblue!!! I am so happy, besides the extra income...I can go home a lot more often. California here we come!

The Party

Ok! So I know it is my third post on Zac's birthday but we did a lot! Everything was leading up to this party. We had salad, pizza, cookies, and cake. I made and decorated the cake all by myself. I had to wake up at 5 in the morning to do it. ( I procrastinated a ton) My Mom was in town from California. She spent the whole week with us and left today. Zac was having a hard day because of his teeth but once people started to show up he forgot all about it and started having fun. We had about 23 people at our house, which is a lot for our small home. Zac was spoiled again with toys and clothing. Thank you to everyone that came and helped out.....The party turned out great.

Happy Birthday my baby boy!

On March 14 it was Zac's 1st Birthday!!! We were going to have his party on Sunday but we wanted to do something on his real birthday. So we took him to The Children's Museum at the Gateway mall. It was his first time there but he really liked it. Even at his age he got a lot out of it.

The balls were his favorite part!

Pre Birthday

On March 8 we had a birthday party for Zac and his two cousins who have their birthdays around the same time. It was a big bash and a lot of fun for the kids! ( HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEATON !!! His birthday IS today)

Zac, Lincoln and Keaton got spoiled with a lot of presents!

We got spoiled with tons of goodies.

We sang everybody happy birthday and I think all the kids liked their cake.

Zac is my kind of kid with the way he downed his cake. After, Zac and Lincoln had a ton of fun playing together.
