Good, Better, Best?

In the last week we have had some better days of weather. Zac loves being outside so every chance we get we are out walking around and playing. Well, Zac has also been sick....or is he sick? I had been watching his symptoms to tell the doctor and I thought he just had a bad cold. Come to find out he has seasonal allergy's. Sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes.....how sad!!! I have never had allergy's till I moved to Utah so I don't know much about them. I went on Web MD to see what I can do to help him. So I started going down the list and doing things around the house. Change the house air filter, get a humidifier, vacuum the house.......vacuum the house. I get out our vacuum and start to do so. It starts to getting really hot, and making a high pitched sound. Our vacuum is three years old and stopped working well about a year ago. Ethan was home and saw how bad it was so we decided it was time to take the plunge and get a new one. Before we buy something that is more then a $100 I always go online a read reviews to find out what one is the "BEST". Most of the reviews are rated by how well it works to how much you spend. Well of course the Dyson was ranked one of the best on more then one website. The only complaint about it was the price. Most Dyson's range from $399 to $600. How can they get away with charging that much for a vacuum? For once in my life I would like the "Best" to also be the cheapest. It seams like the good, better, best system is everywhere. A good example of this is Gap Inc. They own Old Navy "Good", Gap "Better", Banana Republic "Best". I like Old Navy better then Gap but I also think Banana is the best. Most of the time you get what you pay for but not always. I was watching T.V. and they were testing anti ageing face products and they found that the cheaper ones worked better then the pricier brands. Yeah! Well anyways, back to the vacuum. Luckily, Ethan had a band new Dyson at his work!! It was in the box and everything. This is the best thing about him working at a pawn shop. I tryed it today and it is amazing! Zac is also doing much better! So I guess we got the "Best" for much cheaper.

P.S. Zac and I went to the park yesterday and he had fun chasing the ducks. It was to cute not to post!

After having 2 vacuums break during our first 3 years of marriage, we invested in a Dyson as well. It was my Mother's Day present last year. Yes, it was pricey, but I have LOVED it. I hated vacuuming before but now it's one of my favorite chores. Good choice!

I am so jealous that you have a Dyson! And, I totally agree that Banana is the best. Just wish that I could afford to shop there. Everything is cute!

Ok so our vacuum just broke...any chances we could get hooked up with a Dyson??? Seriously tell Ethan that next time he runs into one, we have dibs!!

Well if you look right now on Consumer Reports, Dyson isn't even the best rated vacuum. It's like 10th on the list. You can get a pretty good $150 Eureka Boss, or a $60 Hoover Tempo without breaking the bank and they are slightly higher rated than Dyson.

Shannon-- I have an extra vacuum at my house that runs perfectly. (It's a long and embarassing story). If you need one to get you through until you get the superman vacuum, let me know, I would love to get it out of my house.

Glad to know it's a good vacuum! I've always wondered if they were all that they hyped up to be!
